Della Mae Holcombe, age 94, of Florence, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. Visitation was Tuesday, August 13, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Wednesday, August 14, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Woodard and Bro. Tim Buchanan officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Allen Moody, Jason Brewer, Michael Bevis, J. T. Grimes, John Luffman, and Tracey Wear. Della was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenhill and retired with the Lauderdale County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Almon Holcombe; parents, Leonard and Lola Abston; son, Gary Holcombe; and brother, Alva Abston. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Dianne Holcombe.
