Delisa StevensDelisa Diane Stevens, age 57, of Crossville, passed away on May 29, 2024. Born to the late Ray L. Stevens and Ellen Pounds Stevens, Delisa brought joy and light to all who knew her. She cherished her time participating in the Special Olympics, found peace in coloring, and enjoyed people-watching. A lover of music and dance, she delighted in watching shows like “Grease” and “Dirty Dancing.”
Delisa is survived by her brothers, Chris “Congo” (Tracy) Stevens and Kevin (Samantha) Stevens; her nephews, Eric Stevens and Brandon Blevins; and beloved family members Bobby Schoggins, Larry Schoggins, Michelle Schoggins, and Melissa Cornelious. She also leaves behind a special friend, Rachael Brackett, along with a host of cousins, family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Dakota Stevens, and her grandparents, Travis and Tincie Pounds, and Perry and Ludicie Stevens.
A funeral service to honor Delisa’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Darrell Ross. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Delisa will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in the Aroney Community. Pallbearers include Tyler Ross, Avery Ross, Josh Roden, Jeremey Roden, Mason Brooks, and Eric Stevens.
Delisa will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. Special thanks are extended to the staff at Shepherds Cove Hospice and Crossville Nursing Home and Rehab for their compassionate care and support.
