Delbert Wayne Coe, age 87, of Albertville, passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1936, to the late Perry and Mamie Coe. Delbert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Delbert was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church since 1965, where his faith played a central role in his life. His commitment to his community and church demonstrated his unwavering dedication to his beliefs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Neva Coe, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Delbert leaves behind two sons, Bert Coe and Bart Coe (Amelia), and mother to grandchildren, Kim Coe; His grandchildren, Raven Cryar (Adam), Rachel Wilson (Jordan), Roxann Keener, Delbert Ryan Coe (Mary Catherine), Cody Parker (Becca), Jessica Torres (Sady), and Sara Qubik (Jon), were the joy of his life. Delbert was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Tallyn, Ledger, Hayleigh, Hunter, Hensley, Holden, Jack, Everly, Norah, and Elyanah, who brought immeasurable happiness to his later years.
Delbert is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Mamie Coe, and four sisters, Nadine, Juanita, Tommie Faye, and Melba. He is now reunited with his loved ones in eternal peace.
A graveside service will be held at Marshall Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 3:00 pm. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home from 2:00 until 2:30 pm.
Delbert Wayne Coe’s life touched many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth he shared with so many throughout his rich and meaningful life.
