Delbert Lavaughn Jenkins, age 84, of Aberdeen, MS, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 5:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Randy Clardy to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 4:00pm until 5:00pm.

Delbert was born on May 28, 1938 in Aberdeen, MS to the late Kenneth Nelson Jenkins and the late Earline Sizemore Jenkins. He attended school in Aberdeen, MS. Delbert had a long career as a truck driver which he retired from. He enjoyed playing pool, dancing, fishing, and working in his yard. Delbert loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed making memories with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
