Dee Rainey, 70 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Rainey was born on March 22nd, 1953, to James Donald and Paula McDonald Rainey.
Mr. Rainey is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Goode; daughter Didi Rainey, of Charleston, S.C.; mother Paula Rainey, of Athens; and brother Mac Rainey, of Athens.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Dee was a local musician who enjoyed playing his guitar. He also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
