LACEY’S SPRING-On Saturday, January 4 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released statement concerning the death of a man resulting from a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Morgan County:
“A two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 36 at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, has claimed the life of a Lacey’s Spring man.
Jason Eric Ledbetter, 46, was killed when the 2005 Ford Mustang he was driving crossed the center line and collided head on with a 2014 Infiniti Q50. Ledbetter was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti and a juvenile passenger were airlifted to Huntsville Hospital.
The crash occurred six miles west of Lacey’s Spring. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
