DECATUR-Decatur Police investigated a shooting investigation in the 900-block of 10th Ave NE on Wednesday, March 27.
A male victim was located and transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Identification is pending family notification. The shooting is being investigated as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
The Special Services Alternative Center on Church St. was placed on secure perimeter at this time. Decatur City Schools is conducted a controlled release.
