DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit made a routine traffic stop and netted two for Illegal Possesion Of Marijuana and several other charges. ย Here is how the Decatur Police Department describe the incident:

SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:

“On April 9, 2014, members of Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit were patrolling in the area of Sunnybrook Dr and Larkwood Dr SW. Officers observed Richy Oneal Ray driving on Larkwood Dr at Sunnybrook Dr SW. Officers were aware that Ray had active misdemeanor warrants through the city of Decatur.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Larkwood Dr at Sandlin Rd SW. Officers identified the driver as Richy Ray and theย passenger as Tara Lei Tucker. During the course of the investigation, Ray and Tucker were found to be in possession of a quantity of Marijuana packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from drug sales.

Ray was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Revoked, and seven misdemeanor warrants for Failure to Appear. Ray will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $5,789.00 bond.

Tucker was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tucker will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,000.00 bond.”
