Decatur Police Arrest Four Suspects On Drug Related Search Warrant

DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department issued a statement concerning a drug raid that took place on August 26 resulting in the arrest of four suspects:
“During the month of August 2022, the Decatur Police Department received multiple complaints of fentanyl pills being sold within the city limits of Decatur. During the investigation, investigators found La’Darrius Miller, 20, of Decatur, to be the primary suspect in reference to the complaints.
On August 26, 2022, investigators with Decatur Police Department’s VICE/ Narcotics Unit and DPD SWAT operators executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Runnymead Ave SW. Investigators located over six pounds of marijuana, over 1,200 fentanyl laced pills, a quantity of synthetic cannabinoids, two loaded firearms and over $4,000 in US currency.
Investigators arrested the following:
La’Darrius Miller – Charged with Trafficking in Cannabis and Trafficking in Illegal Drugs. Miller was booked into the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
Gary Freeman Jr., 23, of Decatur – Charged with Trafficking in Cannabis and Trafficking in Illegal Drugs. Freeman was booked into the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
Natalie Hill, 43, of Decatur – Charged with Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hill was booked into the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $600 bond.
Rodney Garth, 51, of Decatur – Charged with Loitering in a Drug House. Garth was booked into the Morgan County Jail and held in lieu of a $300 bond.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected.
“The defendants are accused of the above crimes and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.”
