HARTSELLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occurred near Hartselle that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. Friday, January 21, has claimed the life of a Decatur man.
Paul Laronge Bibb, 62, was fatally injured when the 2002 Ford Expedition he was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole. Bibb was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on New Cut Road, approximately five miles west of Hartselle, in Morgan County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
