Debra Marie Garner, age 61 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on May 14, 1963, to the late Jerry and Margie (Fleming) Walker. Debra was employed at the University of the South in the Dietary Department. In her spare time, she enjoyed craft making. Debra is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Garner of Decherd; sons, Tyler Garner and Wayne Garner, both of Hazel Green, Alabama; and brother, Robby Walker. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2024, at Snead Funeral Home, 170 Richmond Drive, Snead, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2024, at Snead Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Wynnville Community Cemetery in Susan Moore, Alabama. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
