Debra Jean Mahan

Debra Jean Mahan, age 69, of Anniston, Alabama, passed away on September 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Thelma Addie; and her sister, Anna Wallace. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Mahan; sisters, Cathy Anderson and Arlene Addie; her son, Paul Addie and wife, Terry; her daughters, Carol Maye and Jacqueline Mason; grandchildren, Carolyn Bell, Trey Bell, Ryan Addie, Nathan Maye, Daniel Maye and Caden Maye; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Debra spent 18 years in the Armed Forces, ending her active military career with the Chemical Engineer Corp. out of Fort McClellan. She then spent another 8 years serving our country with the Army Reserves. Her home was always open to any of her military comrades that were away from their families, especially during holiday seasons.
Everyone who knew Debra knew she had a great love of dogs. They were the great loves of her life; and you could not enter her home without being greeted by many dogs.
Debra was very much loved by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at her home on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11:30 AM.
