Deborah Sue Slayton, 67, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at The Courtyards in Fulton, MS. She was born in Cleveland, OH to Billy Joe and Barbara Sue Askew Elliott. She was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 25, 4 p.m. at Forest Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Payne officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-4 p.m. at Forest Grove Bapitst Church. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Jason Slayton (Lydia); her daughter, Amiee Hollingsworth (Johnny); grandchildren, Ryan and Becca Slayton and Alissa, Jacob and Joshua Harviel; her sister, Lisa Mink; special niece, Kayla Robinson (Brent) and daughter, Avery and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Slayton; her parents and her brother, Terry Elliott.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Harviel, Ryan Slayton, Michael Mauldin, Kohlyee Estes, Kylei Estes and Brent Robinson.
