Deborah Sue Garner, age 62 of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital. She was born in Cook County, Illinois on March 3, 1958 to the late Thomas Oscar and Lula Mae (Potts) McAmis. Before her retirement, she had been employed at Harton Hospital in the dietary department. A wonderful cook, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and made a point to attend all of her grandkids sporting events. Deborah Sue loved the Lord and will be remembered for her warm and kind-hearted nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant brother, Thomas Oscar McAmis Jr; and special aunt, Sadie Lucille Moon. Deborah Sue is survived by her loving children, Michelle (Rocky) Ruehling of Tullahoma, and Derek (Tasha) Tucker of Estill Springs; grandchildren, River Chase (Haley) Rackley, Tyler Ruehling, Rylee Creed Rackley, Kanyon Hope Tucker, Briana Skye Ruehling, and Cason Myles Tucker; great-grandchild, Sabree Ella Rackley; siblings, Mabel Ann Anderson, and Johnny Ray McAmis; niece, Tracie Lynn Mears; nephews, Thomas “Tommy” William Sawyer, and Johnny Ray McAmis Jr. Private Family Services are planned.
