Deborah Rosa Gargis, 73, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, June 23, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A private graveside service will be held for the family with Wes Gargis officiating.
Deborah was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elena Gargis; father, Homer Gargis, Jr.; and brother, Phillip Gargis.
Deborah is survived by her nephews, Wesley Gargis (Bethany) and Christopher Gargis; niece, ReAnna Gargis; great-nephews, Ayden, Myles, and Ian; and great-nieces, Madison and Kieran.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Gargis, Christopher Gargis, Ayden Gargis, Chris McBride, Don Littrell, and Stan Thompson.
The family offers special thanks to the staff and residents of Cottage of the Shoals. Your care and compassion for Deborah over the past 18 years will always hold a special place in our hearts.
