Mrs. Deborah Lee Fry, age 71, of Rainbow City, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 01, 2022. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 04, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Whisenant, Rev. Joe Wise, and Rev. Kenneth Lasseter will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Aroney, Alabama. Collier-Butler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fry was born in Maryland but had resided in Etowah County, Alabama for most of her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, and camping. Mrs. Fry was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Julian and Stella Green.
Mrs. Fry is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Johnny R. Fry; children, David (Genia) Fry, Daryl (Wendy) Fry, Lisa Fry (Scotty) Chadwick, Steven (Christina) Fry; grandchildren, Dylan (Amber) Swindall, Jesse Fry, Baylon (Megan) Fry, Kaylee Fry (Bailey) Howard, Hayden Fry, Abby Terry, Cayden Fry, Summer Fry, Clayton Fry, and Stella Fry; great grandchildren, Brycen Fry.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Kindred Hospice nurses and staff.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund or to the Spina-bifida Association.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 04, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
