Deborah K. Wagner Profile PhotoDeborah K. Wagner, age 73, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, at her Jackson residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 24, 1950, in Brownsville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Terri Boyd Young.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who created cherished memories for all who knew her. Deborah was a proud graduate of Haywood County High School and subsequently embarked on a rewarding career as a secretary with Baker Energy, where she made a significant impact through her dedication and hard work.

She had a deep passion for nurturing her beautiful flower gardens, often spending many afternoons caring for them. Her love for cooking was especially evident during family gatherings, where her meals brought loved ones together during the holidays.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Mark Wagner, and her two sons, Kenneth Bradley Ray and his wife Maria, and Lance Allen Ray. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Hunter Ray, Samuel Sanchez, Galylea Sanchez, Kayla Sanchez, and Zaul Sanchez, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother William Jackson.

A visitation to honor Deborah’s life will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors.

The pallbearers will be John Boone, Raymond White, Kelly Baker, Joey Martin, Brent Ward and Barry Harston.

Deborah K. Wagner’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her impact will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
