Deborah Gail Haynes, 66, resident of Jumpertown, passed away peacefully Wednesday January 18, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Haynes will be 11 am Monday January 23, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Coltharp officiating. Burial will follow in Wiers Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynes was born September 4, 1956, in Boonville to the late Opal Lee and Dorthey Faye Thorton White and was a graduate of New Site High School. She was employed with Calvery Cabinet Shop for seven years, before working as a secretary for Dr. Laurence Dennis, Internal Medicine Specialist in Boonville for eighteen years.
A Christian, Mrs. Haynes enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, making jewelry to give to her friends, and bingo. Family meant everything to Mrs. Haynes and she loved being surrounded by those who meant most to her, especially her cats. Special times were shared with her sisters on what she called “Sisters Days”.
Visitation will be Sunday January 22, 2023, from 5 pm until 8 pm and will continue Monday at Ripley Funeral Home.
In addition to her husband, Freddie Haynes, those left to cherish memories include one daughter, Tina Hayden, two sons, Scott Underwood (Regina) and Andy Hayden (Felisha), one sister, Carolyn Buczek (Philip), one brother, Joey White, and ten grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Sellers.
