Deborah Carol Gibson Hargett, age 65, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Deborah worked for years as quality control at Pilgrim’s Chicken Plant. She was the sweetest soul, had a kind heart, and was full of personality. She always had a smile on her face and a fun-loving laugh. She was a joy to be around. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Bertie (Seal) Gibson, and sister-in-law, Kim Seal.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Rodney Hargett; sons, Jeremy Hargett (Devon), Ty Hargett, Kamaron Hargett (Annette); 7 grandchildren, Brianna Hargett, Jayden Hargett, Ariana Hargett, Amelia Hargett, Collin Hargett, Paisley Hargett, Chloe Hargett; siblings, Sandy Seal, Jeff Gibson; brothers-in-law, Roger Hargett (Judy), Roy Hargett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The visitation will be 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
