Deborah Ann Robinson “Poochie” was born on February 14, 1971, to Glen Howard Simpson and Fannie Mae Robinson, whom both preceded her in death. She departed her earthly life on Saturday, June 22, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized. Later, she joined Cave Spring M.B. Church in Muscle Shoals, AL. Deborah attended Colbert County High School, and graduated from Northwest Shoals Community College. She was a faithful employee at the Colbert County Courthouse.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Simpson and her brother, Gregory Robinson.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Candace Robinson of Florence, AL and Ryeshia Koger of Sheffield, AL; a very special friend of 22 years, Donna “Kita” Fuqua of Muscle Shoals, AL; a special niece, Amber “Shimmy” Robinson of Tuscumbia, AL; three sisters, Teresa (Walter) Abernathy of Leighton, AL, Glenda Simpson of Cherokee, AL, and Patsy Horton of Courtland, AL; four brothers, James Robinson of Tuscumbia, AL, Anthony (Vicky) Robinson of Smyrna, TN, Anthony Simpson of Memphis, TN, and Eddie (Elvira) Boyd of Waverly, VA; a niece that she considered a sister, Kisha Goodloe of Muscle Shoals, AL; a longtime friend, Amy Neloms; two bonus/special sons, JaCoby Marshall and Demetruis Underwood; a bonus/special daughter, Christerria Mayes; and two bonus/special granddaughters, Delajhia “Lay Lay” Underwood and Daelynn “Dae Dae” Underwood. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
