Debbie Sue Smith, age 64 of Alexander City, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Manhattan Nursing Home in Jackson, Mississippi. No services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Tallapoosa County, and lived most of her life in Alexander City. She primarily worked at Russell Mills in the Spinner department for around 25 years. She enjoyed staying at home, was Baptist by faith, and was a loving sister to her brothers, and loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her Brother, Homer Simmons (Teresa) of Alexander City; plus six nieces and nephews, plus other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: R.V. Simmons and Bernice Ferrell Simmons; and two brothers: Ronnie Wayne and William Simmons.
