Memorial services for Debbie Sanders Eley, age 65 of Lincoln, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service at the Magnolia House.
Debbie passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at her residence. She was born August 6, 1959, in LaGrange, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Sanders; mother, Alma Burson Sanders; ex-husband, Jerry Vowell; and son-in-law, Joshua Hill.
She leaves behind her son, Jeremy Vowell; daughters, Chrystal Vowell Johnson and Shannon Vowell Hill; grandsons, Chase Johnson, Justin Nichols, Austin Vowell, Rivan Hill, Julian Hill, Calvan Hill and Gatlin Vowell; granddaughter, Kelsey Pelfrey (Dalton Pelfrey); ex-husband, Vern Eley; sister, Patty Burnham (Tommy); and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debbie was a talented artist and designer. She was well know for her arts and crafts and her decorations he handmade Debbie was very passionate for her cocker spaniels. She loved and spoiled her fur babies. Debbie loved her family and had many close friends that she loved and adored. She spent her lifetime using her talent and creativity to bless all those around her.
