  Debbie June James Profile PhotoDebbie June Burns James, age 63, wife of Charlie James, and a resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Isabell officiating. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery, Woolard Road, Santa Fe, Tennessee. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 15, 1960, Debbie was the daughter of the late R.M. “Buddy” Burns and the late Daisy Walton Burns.

Debbie was a proud and faithful member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. Debbie was known for her exceptional cooking skills, bringing joy to family and friends through her delicious meals. Debbie enjoyed bowling and traveling, creating cherished memories along the way. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, whom she adored and treasured. A fan of 90’s music, Debbie embraced life with a vibrant spirit that touched everyone around her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Charlie James; sons, Bryan (Crystal) James of Cleveland, TN and Ricky James of Santa Fe; daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Boshers of Santa Fe; brothers, James (Debbie) Burns; sisters, Wilma McConnell, Joanne (Wayne) Pruitt, and Brenda (Mike) Johnson; grandchildren, Noah Boshers, Oliviah Boshers, Lucas Boshers, Leah Boshers, Evan James, Isaac James, Trey, Kylie, Koty, and Nova; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Sue Burns.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan James, Ricky James, Jeffrey Boshers, Noah Boshers, Lucas Boshers, and Jason Burns.
