Dean Nix, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, past member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, and a current member of Salem Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing loved her family, loved to travel, and visiting with her relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart Vestal and Lillie Roberts Craig; one sister, Carol Francis Cothran; and one brother, Gene Craig.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edwin Nix of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Richard and Felecia Nix of Lawrenceburg, TN; nieces; and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2025, with Keith Barnett and Bill Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
