Dawn Michelle Martin, age 48, died Saturday, February 4, 2017. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, February 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Greg Corble and Bro. Nick McSpadden will officiate. Music will be provided by Donny Carpenter and Shirley McSpadden. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
Ms. Martin was a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and was a member of Shoals Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Preceding Dawn in death are her father, Thomas Martin; mother, Maurine Martin; and brothers, Gary Martin and Henry Clay Martin.
Survivors include brother, John Martin; sisters, JoAnn Young, Janita McConathy, and Debra Marchant; nieces, Ashley Carpenter, Nicole Marchant, Blair Martin, and Shea Terry; nephews, Chance Young and Brian Sparks; and great nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Emily, Rylan, Charlie, and Paisley Jane.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
