Davis Marshall Groat, 54 passed away after a brief illness at his home in Valley Head, AL, Thursday October 17, 2024.
Visitation will be Sunday from 12 Noon until 2:00, followed by a graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery at 2:30.
David was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was born October 31, 1970, along with his twin brother John Robert Groat, to Diane Groat and Thomas Marshall Groat. He was preceded in death by his brother John Robert and his father Thomas Marshall Groat.
Survivors include his Mother, Diane Crow Groat,; sister, Donna Marie Groat; children JC Groat, (wife Grace), Gracie Groat McPherson (Evan), Maggie Groat and JP Groat; and granddaughter, Merritt Hayes McPherson.
Other survivors include Aunt, Donna Weatherly; Uncle, John Paul Crow (Lee Ann); several cousins and many wonderful friends.
