David William Davies, age 58, of Boaz, passed on April 14, 2024, at Albertville Nursing Home. He was born on September 13, 1965, to the late Roger McWhorter and Frances Mae Whisenant.
David was known for his unwavering devotion to Auburn Football, his passion for the game shining brightly in his heart. He found solace and joy in the companionship of his beloved dogs, Cricket and Button provided him comfort throughout the years.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Eric Davies (Alicia) and Damion Davies; his siblings, Fonda Clough (Mark), Richard Davies, Jerry Davies (Wanda), Deborah Horton (Oscar), Donna Duke, Diane Heaton (Eddie), and Dedra Simpson (Pat); and his six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Davies, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service honoring David’s life will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Prior to the service, the family will welcome friends for visitation at the funeral home, beginning one hour earlier.
