David Wayne “Crockett” Hill, age 57, of Florence, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. Visitation will be today, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Oakgrove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tiny Hansell Hill.
He is survived by his son, Terry Wayne Hill; mother, Hazel Melton; fiancée, Elizabeth Montgomery; sister, Teresa Hill Wiley (Spencer); brothers, Jeff Hill (Edith Arcese) and John Melton (Shawnette); stepbrother, Chris Melton; stepsisters, Angie, Lisa, Darlene and Kim Melton; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hill, Spencer Wiley, Corey Burbank, Tristen Hill, Houston Thornton and Joey Hill.
