David Tolbert, 89, of Leighton, AL passed away Monday, July 25, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Greg Beasley will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mr. Tolbert proudly served his country in The United States Army.
Preceded in death by wife of 68 years, Lora “Nell” Tolbert; parents, Jim and Bertha Tolbert; son, Glenn David Tolbert; daughter, Janice Irene Hearn; and six siblings.
Survivors are daughter, Linda Counts (Ray); five grandchildren; host of loving great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other loving family members.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Counts, Rodney Tolbert, Darrin Berry, Gary Dill, Brandon Berry, Cody Berry, and Jeremy Dill. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug McDonald, Gary Ledlow, and Joseph Thomas.
