The family of David Thomas “Tony” Langley, age 62, of Decatur will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. His funeral service will be private.
Mr. Langley, who died Monday, November 8, 2021, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, was born March 9, 1959, in Murray, KY, to David Lee Langley and Jewell Fine Langley. He was preceded in death by his parents. He loved family, golf, the Tennessee Vols, and served as a local baseball coach.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mitzi (Hair) Langley of Decatur; one son, Craig Langley (Hannah) of Rainsville; two daughters, Whitney Lewis (Jason) of Sugar Hill, GA and Gabrielle Hill (Travis) of Decatur; two sisters, Sharon Oats (Smokey) of Dandridge, TN and Donna Zukowski (Kyle) of Loudon, TN; seven grandchildren, Jackson Lewis, Grayson Langley, Scarlett Sanderson, Hank Langley, Penelope Sanderson, Abigail Hill, and Bristol Hill; and many beloved nephews and nieces.
