Mr. David “The Gentle Giant” Kelley, age 59, of Decatur, died Saturday July 8, 2017. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 15 , 2017 at 1:00 pm with Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was born March 10, 1958 to Hayden “L. G.” Kelley and Audrey Lemley Kelley. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jo Ann Jones.
He is survived by one sister Teresa Kelley of Decatur; five great nephews Anthony Andreae, Patrick Kelley, Drew Allen, Krew Deprow and William Shaneyfelt all of Decatur; three nieces Deena Allen , Kim Kelley, Kenni Jo Shaneyfelt; three great nieces Lauren Allen, Taylor Shaneyfelt and Tristen Allen all of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
