David Sloan Ellis, 85, of Blanche, TN, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at Madison Hospital.
David was born March 23,1939 to Charlie & Mattie Belle Ellis of the Elkton community. He served in the Air Force for six years.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ellis, his parents, sisters Owena Pierce and Jenny Limberger and brother, TJ Ellis.
Mr. Ellis was survived by daughter, Kelly (Byron) Rolin, sons, Keith (Karen) Ellis and Lee (Cassandra) Ellis, and daughter Paula (Ed) Watson. Grandchildren Whitney (Landon) Curtis, Haley (Andrew) Butler, Bryson Rolin, Alexandra Ellis, Isabel Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Olivia Ellis, Elliott Ellis, Eli Ellis, Amelia Ellis, Isla Ellis, Odella Ellis, Adeline Ellis, IvaGrace Ellis, Jill Varnagatas, Misty Rolin and three great-grandchildren Collier Elizabeth, Parker Ann and Elias Lee, three sisters, Nadine Hodges, Shirley Russell and Gail Posey, one brother, Wade Ellis.
Visitation will be at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Services will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home following the visitation at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery in Taft, Tennessee.
