David Ray Burbank, 72, of Rogersville, passed away June 2, 2014, at ECM Hospital in Florence.
He was retired from TVA-Brown’s Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War in 1968-1969, a Baptist, and member of Labor Local 366.
Survivors include
wife, Jean Humphrey Burbank;
grandchild, Chase Burbank; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by
parents, Theodore Roosevelt Burbank and Myrtle Dotson Burbank, son, Jamie Burbank,
brothers, Robert and Kenneth Burbank, and sister, Evelyn Miller.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hickory Flatt Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be J. W. Durham, Devin Durham, Josh Means, Benji Kilpatrick, Cody Martin, and Daniel Durham. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Durham and Jayden Durham.
The family would like to thank all the nurses, staff, and doctors on the CTR unit at ECM.
