David ‘Pecos’ Brenenstall
Funeral service for Mr. Brenenstall, age 61, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 5 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Camer Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment will be Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 2 p.m, in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Brenenstall, who died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center, was born June 19, 1951, in Peoria, IL, to Richard Brenenstall and Lois Foerquer.
Mr. Brenenstall is a Purple Heart Veteran and an avid square dancer in the Decatur/Huntsville area.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Brenenstall; one stepson, Christopher Owsley (Verena) of Nashville TN; one son, Jacob Brenenstall of Madison; one daughter, Shelly Brenenstall of Decatur; his father, Richard Brenenstall of IL; mother, Lois Jackson (Willard) of IL; one sister, Linda Rausch (Bob) of Nebraska; two brothers, Michael Brenenstall (Donna) of IL, and Randy Brenenstall (Sue) of IL; and three grandchildren, Breanna, Brayden, and Jolee.
