David Patrick Nicolas, 78, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN, and the University of Alabama. Dave worked at NASA for 32 years doing failure analysis.
Dave loved to work with his hands, spending his time on car restoration, wood working and traveling to learn about US History. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Stephanie Nicolas. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Nicolas; his children, Cynthia Wieties (David) of Memphis, TN, and Mark Nicolas (Jennifer) of Huntsville, AL; his sister, Arlene Nicolas-Tripepi (Rocco) of Granger, IN; and grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley, Nathaniel and Rebecca.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 9:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Huntsville, AL. Funeral services will follow at 10:00.
