David Orman of Harvest, AL, passed into eternal peace on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019.
He is survived by his daughter, Sonie Alexandre (Kevin) of Harvest, AL; his son-in-law, Craig Usrey of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandchildren, Nicholas Alexandre, Jacob Alexandre; Priscilla Daniels (Damon) and Travis Usrey; his great grandchildren, Braxton Briar, Damien an Talia. He is also survived by his siblings, Gretchen McNeely of Bozeman, MT; Stephen Orman of Westminister, CA; and Sharyn Sager of Murfreesboro, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Katherine Orman; his brother, Allen Orman; his sister, Jean Orman and his daughter, Susan Usrey.
Dave was born in Detroit, MI, June 9, 1942, where he spent his youth and graduated from Denby High School in 1961. In 1962 he decided to elit in the US Army with some of his buddies where he served the next three years as an army aircraft mechaic. He spent his professional life as a realtor, businessman, and truck driver.
An avid sports fan Dave was particularly devoted to Anaheim Angels baseball and hockey — he loved the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks and rarely missed an opportunity to watch them in action.
Family and friends will celebrate his life at a memorial service on Saturday July 20th at 5:30pm at the home of Sonie and Kevin Alexandre with his younger brother Pastor Stephen Orman delivering the eulogy.
Dave will always be remembered for his big heart, love of conversation and debate, boyish charm, sense of humor, and youthful spirit. He was loved by so many and will be terribly missed.
