David Milton Powers, 72 of Muscle Shoals, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 11, 2024. David was born on November 24, 1951 to Bruce and Wanda Powers. He was a native of Florence, AL where he graduated from Bradshaw High School. He was of the Christian Faith. At the time of his death, he was employed with U. S. Brick Company of Florence for the past 20+ years. He previously worked for Flowers Bread Company for 33 years. He was a hard working man that gave his all to his job! He was a happy person all the time and never met a stranger! He was always joking! He was very outgoing and loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lori Powers; Parents Bruce and Wanda Powers; brother Ronnie Powers and sister-in-law Cindy Powers.
He is survived by Sons, Jason and Matt Powers of Muscle Shoals, AL, Wesley Smith (Andrea) of Jefferson, GA. Grandsons Zac Powers, Hogan & Watson Smith, Granddaughter Ellie Jae Powers, Brother Kenneth Powers (Elaine) Muscle Shoals, AL, Previous-Wife and Friend Paulette Powers Vinson Muscle Shoals, AL, Niece Stephanie Pless, Nephew Jeff Powers, Many Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be Saturday May 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Loretto Memorial Chapel. With Doug Trousdale officiating. With Burial to follow in Restview Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday May 18, 2024 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
