David Maxwell Bell, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at his home after a sudden illness. He was born August 2, 1955, in Tupelo, to Thomas Jefferson and Mildred Dill Bell. He was in the construction business, before becoming disabled. He enjoyed playing the guitar and watching westerns. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Tony Thornton and Bro. Bob Thompson officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Bell; two daughters, Chasity Dees (Michael) and Stephanie Poole; two brothers, Danny Bell (Angela), and Donnie Bell (Nelda); one sister, Debbie Summerford (Steve); two grandchildren, Al Dees and Veronica Poole; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Kay Bell; and his parents.
Visitation will be from Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
