David Marcus McClain, age 67, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, in Elkton, Maryland.
David was born on April 18, 1955, to the late David Leo and Jo-An Martin McClain in Columbia, Tennessee.
A true outdoorsman, David enjoyed the wonders that waited for him outside a doorway. From hunting and fishing to canoeing and hiking, David loved spending his time in the wilderness.
He had a way about him, known for the character that he is and always up for telling a good joke. Always enjoyed having fun with his nieces and nephews.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Matthew McClain and Ashley (Chris) Grizzard; grandchildren: Lucas McClain, KD McClain, Eric Hendrix, Eriana Hendrix, Jasmine Williamson, Jeremiah Williamson; great-grandchildren: Ke’mari Crouch; siblings: Kim McClain, Cindy McClain Parsons, and Philip Carter (Pam) McClain; and many, multiple nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his siblings: Shelia Williamson, John McClain, and Beth McClain.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Pallbearers are Lucas McClain, KD McClain, Ephrim McClain, Nicholas Sedberry, Eric Hendrix, and Jeremiah Williamson.
