David Leon Frost, 75 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away December 25, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Frost was born November 22, 1948, in Haleyville, Alabama to Robert and Marie Frost. David married Jill Courington on August 19, 1972, and they were married for 48 years. He worked with the Alabama Forestry Commission for 23 years. David was also a member of the Winston Masonic Lodge #877.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Burial will follow the services at Mount Vernon Baptist Church (King School House) Cemetery. Brother Chris Frost and Brother Jeff Mobley will officiate.
David is survived by his daughter, Jenny (Lynn) Donaldson; grandchildren, Logan Donaldson (Katie Lewis) and Elle Donaldson (Jarett Daniel); brothers, Robert Frost and Dan (Kathy) Frost; nephews, Gordan (Susan) Frost and Chris (Tabitha) Frost; brother-in-law, Scotty Courington; friend, Dorothy Mills; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jill Frost; parents, Robert and Marie Frost; and nephew, Matthew Frost.
