David Leon Cross 63, died March 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1957 in Guin, AL to the late Thomas Perry Cross and Barbara Sims Cross. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans W. P. Rogers Camp 321. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Cross; daughters, Amanda Cross, Kimberly Stanley, Melissa Hall (Bobby); sons, Steve Leos (Johanna), Randy Leos; brothers, George Cross, Thomas Cross; sister Paula Jean Cross; grandchildren, Nathan Cross, Cody Faye, Catlyn Stanley, Elias Calderon, Jonathan Leos, Kyle Leos, Nadia Strom, Rachael Maldonado, Nick Larson, Angelina Leos; several great grandchildren; aunts, Patricia Henderson, Joyce Ann Sims (Jimmie Henderson); uncle, Tommy “Red” Sims; special buddy, Alex Hoffman; special friends, Mark Hernandez, Joe Maritto and Merle “Big M”.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
