We are saddened to announce the passing of David Lee Rickard, a loving father, patient and ambitious individual. Born on February 16, 1955, in Silverton, OR, David’s journey came to an end on August 21, 2024, at the farm which he treasured, in Lewisburg, TN.
Dave was a man of many passions. He was a talented drummer, finding solace and joy in music. His love for the Lord was unwavering, and he cherished time spent fishing and watching his favorite comedians, the Three Stooges. An animal lover, David adored both cats and horses, finding comfort and companionship in their presence. He had a keen appreciation for nostalgia, collecting old records, classic movies, and music. His heart belonged to the iconic sounds of Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carol Lee Rickard and Joyce Wyatt Parks. He is survived by his other half, Alena Nicholson; son, Jonah McCallihan, daughter, Amy Maraglio; brothers, Larry Rickard and Robert Rickard, and his grandchildren, Tessa Rickard and Mia Short.
May his soul rest in peace, surrounded by the melodies of his favorite tunes and the memories he leaves behind.
Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
