David Lee Modrall, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, a retired insurance agent with Wall-Modrall Insurance, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. David loved the Lord, cherished his family, and loved serving Lawrence County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Grace House Modrall; two brothers, Bob Modrall and Danny Modrall; and one sister, Susan Modrall.
He is survived by his wife, Freddie Ann Modrall of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Stacy Rollins (Mark) of Saltillo, MS and Kim Calvert (Grant) of Ethridge, TN; one son, Dan Modrall of Lawrenceburg, TN; step-son, Brent Adair of Nashville, TN; three grandsons, Reid Rollins, Drew Rollins, and Ethan Krick; one sister, Sandra White (Robert) of Goodlettsville, TN; one niece, Lindsay White of Goodlettsville, TN; and one nephew, Christian Brinkley of Goodlettsville, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023, with Keith Durham and Reggie Coleman officiating. A private interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to The Gideons International, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
