David Lee Horton was born on September 7th 1976 in Gadsden, Alabama to Bobbie Nell and Albert Lee Horton, Sr. He was proceeded by the passing of his father on August 18th 1978 and youngest brother, Jerrico Horton on November 7th, 2016. David spent much of his young life getting his education from Striplin Elementary, Disque Middle, and Gadsden High School. Eventually moving to Marshall County where he met his soulmate in 2009, He leaves behind his wife Taryn Horton, mother, Bobbie Horton of Carrolton Ga, Mother-in-law Dale Bailey of Boaz. Father-in-law Monty Elliott (Maleen) of Midland, TX. His beautiful children, Caleb and Jaida Horton of Attalla; Amya and Lucas Zatarain and Alex Blackmon of Boaz. His grandchildren Ember and Waylon. Brothers: Alan (Veronica) and Jerome (Kristilia) Horton of Gadsden. Sisters: Rebecca Horton and Betty Horton of Carrolton, Ga. Kimberly Spears (Darren) of Gadsden, Al. Heather Tripp (Shane) of Pisgah and Shannon Rosier (Patrick) of West Blocton. Niece Alisha Huff of Carrollton, Ga. Nephews: Allen Horton, Jr. of Gadsden, Eddie Huff, Rainbow City, Al. Micheal Yancey of Gadsden Drew Hill (Olivia) of Henagar,Al. Ricky Bartnik (Olivia) of Scottsboro,Al and Caleb Lotzer of Pisgah, Al.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 12 until 4 at Fine Arts Center in Albertville. Rev. Jon Henderson will be officiating.
