David Lee Estis, 68, Barton, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with David Young officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
David was a retired machinist. He was a Master Mason and Past Master, and a member of Washington Masonic Lodge #36. David was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and a dedicated Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Estis, and father, James Estis.
David is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Barbara Estis; sons, Andy Estis (April) and Gus Mims; mother, Sarah Estis; brothers, Mike Estis (Gail), Chris Estis, and Mark Estis; grandchildren, Hunter Estis and Hayden Estis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Weaver, Scott Fox, David Newton, Chris Wallace, Jamie McCay, and Bradley McCaig.
