David Langston Wright, age 62, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015. Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be today at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a member of the church of Christ.
Survivors are wife, Rita Wright (Muscle Shoals, Alabama); son, Lanny Wright (Tupelo, Mississippi); daughters, Paige Emmons Beard (Muscle Shoals, Alabama), Courtney Wright (Muscle Shoals, Alabama), and Brittney Wright Shupe (Muscle Shoals, Alabama); four grandchildren, Nathan Beard and Nia Beard, Kaylee Wright, and Riley Shupe; brothers, Raymond Wright (Kim) Tuscumbia, Alabama, Jack Wright (Jennie) Tuscumbia, Alabama, Dan Wright, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and John Wright (Connie), Tuscumbia, Alabama; and sisters, Barbara Wright (Cherokee), Mozella Watson (Billy), of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and Martha Presley (Roger), of Cherokee, Alabama.
