David Jonathan Thornton, 51, of Elkmont, passed away March 29, 2021. David enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and being outdoors. He was known to be hard working and someone that would do anything for anyone. More than anything, David loved his family.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7th from 6-7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. A memorial service, celebrating his life, will follow. Frankie Rainey will be officiating.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Othor and Pat Thornton. He is survived by his son, Daniel Thornton; siblings, Dawn Rudd, Mark Thornton and Anita (Aaron) Westfall; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
