David Jerald Houser, 60, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at his home in Pontotoc. David was born on October 16, 1963, in Pontotoc County to Willie Houser, Sr. and Barbara Whitehead Owen. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working as a carpenter and on vehicles, and hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Leah Houser; son, Nathan Houser; grandson, Gannon Houser; brothers, Jerry Houser(Melissa), Willie Houser and Royce Owen; stepfather, Jerry Owen; and stepson, Seth DeVaughn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Houser; mother, Barbara Owen; father, Willie Houser, Sr.; and brother, Brian Houser.
Services will be Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Tony Morrow officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Ecru Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Houser, Hunter Bramlitt, John Whitehead, Trey Whitehead, Collin Hyland, and Robert Summar.
