Funeral services for David James Ingram who passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his home, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Ridouts Brown-Service Funeral Home on Danville Road, Decatur, with Rev. Todd Evans officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ingram was born June 8, 1943, to James and Juanita Ingram. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Sherri Cowan, and his sister, Regenia Ingram. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Ingram, his daughter, Tami Ingram, his sister, Renae Ingram, his honorary granddaughter, Laura Cowan, and his honorary great-granddaughter, Brynna Cowan. Mr. Ingram was a lifelong member of Parkview Baptist Church and sang gospel music with the Alterman Quarter for 17 years.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Eubanks, Dwight Eubanks, Gary, Garner, Zane Mattox, Derek Mattox, and Mark Mattox.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Parkview Baptist Church Building Fund.
