David Glover, age 72 of Madison, Alabama passed away peacefully at home after along battle with Parkinson’s on Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was born in Marion, Indiana to Eugene and Betty (Webb) Glover on April 19, 1951. On November 27th, 1972, he married Babette Oakley, and she survives.

David worked at Clark’s Tin Shop in LaFontaine, Indiana for over 25 years and moved to Madison, Alabama and worked for Maples Sheetmetal in Huntsville for another 25 years before retiring in 2013.

Davis was a devoted family man; he was a car enthusiast. David had many talents, but restoring old cars was his passion. He enjoyed going to car shows and talking about cars with the guys.

He will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include if wife of 50 years, Babette Glover; daughters, Tracy (Bill) Bradley of Marion, Indiana, Julie Holloway of Wabash, Indiana; grandchildren, Brittni-Lynn Davis, Tyler Bradley, Alexus Bradley, Aaron Bradley, Nolan Holloway, and Ryan Holloway all of Marion, Indiana; six great grandchildren; brother, Dan Glover of North Carolina; sisters, Shirley Stodgell of Marion, Indiana, Cindy Glover of LaFontaine, Indiana. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene, and Betty Glo9ver; brother, Ralph Glover; sisters, May Ann Bland and Diana Bittinger.

The family will have a memorial service at LaFontaine Ioof Cemetery at a later date and time.
